Manufacturing and R&D

Innovation is the hallmark of marketing at Intex. We have long been committed to Make in India and started domestic manufacturing in 2004 from our factories based at Jammu & Baddi. A state-of-the-art R&D facility ensure that we are on the top of product innovation all the time.

Through large scale manufacturing, Intex has created local employment and training opportunities for the youth living in hinterland and has also helped develop local vendors.

Production Capabilities

Intex started domestic manufacturing in 2004 and currently operates five manufacturing facilities that are based in Jammu, Baddi (Himachal Pradesh) and Noida, manufacturing diverse products. The company has created local employment and training opportunities for youth living in the hinterland of its factories and also helped develop local vendors. The company plans to build one of India’s largest manufacturing facility at Kasna, Greater Noida of around 20 Lac sq ft in size, which will cater to both domestic and export markets.

In-house Research

The in-house research and development facility boasts of novel and original products. This is ensured with usage of the latest version of Altium PCB design software along with SolidWorks 2011 AutoCAD 3D mechanical design software. Monthly reviews of field failure data, vendor visits, new product introduction are also conducted.

Quality Management

Under close supervision of the Quality Assurance team, Intex has an annual capacity of 40 million mobile handsets, 23 million Mobile Batteries & Chargers and around a half million LED TVs. The company is in the process of setting up its 5th and largest manufacturing plant in Greater Noida where all the above manufacturing capacity will be consolidated.

Hi-tech Labs

India and China both are home to Intex's state-of-the-art Research & Development activities. They are well-equipped with modern equipment and are manned by a highly qualified and experienced team looking after product design & development to ensure global standards.
