One of India’s favourite brands, for the year ending 2017, Intex was ranked 4th amongst all Smartphone brands with 12% national share in its price segment. In the Feature Phones segment, it was ranked No. 2 in the Sub INR 1K segment with 15% market share. In LED TVs, where it offers a complete range of panels, from 4K to Smart to HD Ready models, it has the distinction of being the No.1 Indian brand. In Consumer Durables and Appliances, its offerings include Invertor, Fixed Speed and Window ACs; Fully & Semi-Automatic Washing Machines, Refrigerators and Air Coolers. It continues to build its competitive advantage in Mobile and IT Accessories and commands leadership in multiple product categories such as multimedia speakers and power banks.

A strong proponent of the Indian government’s Make-in-India initiative, Intex currently operates three full-scale manufacturing facilities in Jammu, Baddi (Himachal Pradesh) and Noida where it produces a unit every 4 second. The company is also committed to create employment and training opportunities for Indian youth and develop local vendors.

With an average workforce age of 35 years, Intex promotes diversity and has 27% women workforce and growing, with many product lines completely operated by women.

Intex firmly believes in giving back to society and promotes an extensive corporate social responsibility program. Some of the major activities include a partnership with LIFE NGO to set up Intex Life Entrepreneur Development Center at Akola, Maharashtra, for training rural youth in optical care and developing entrepreneur capability. Intex partnered with Gyan Shakti Vidyalaya for educational and social upliftment of underprivileged children and Mumbai-based Jaya Foundation to support its fight on cancer amongst children.
